Today's reflection:
I completely failed to capitalize on gaining recognition and positive attention because I chose to FINALLY use my ultimate weapon (CUSTOMER WITH A BAD BREATH) at a time when I was nervous for a number of reasons:
-No one with enough energy I could leech off to
-I usually start off rusty whenever I enter the office
-LACK OF BALLS
I won't be discussing the main sticking points of my game but rather focus on the main sticking points of what happened TODAY.
I realized that saving a story, a line or a joke is WRONG because it puts you in a pressure-filled position that usually damages the package during a delivery. What I mean by this is that the delivery (waiting period) creates an illusion of nervousness and uncertainty in your head which creates a pressure build-up. This build-up therefore causes the package to get damaged in the form of a bad tone, a noticeably fake body language and the worst of them all, an embarrassing try-hard moment. This one can damage a person's reputation in the form of a biased, usually negative perception from the group who witnessed the mishap. And since word can spread fast in any type of dynamic environment, the damage can turn out to be worse than expected.
I will keep in mind to always use THE BEST LINES to anyone worth my attention because it will put me in a talkative, playful position which could carry on throughout the rest of the day. This could also present an opportunity for me to go NATURAL and ditch the canned materials away since i'll be able to instantaneously come up with money lines out of thin air. This is the ultimate state that I would like to be in AT ALL TIMES.
I would rather be always in the moment, my game and personality on a free-flowing motion than always waiting for that PERFECT MOMENT to bust out the big guns. You have the opportunity, TAKE IT, ITS YOURS TO KEEP!
ON A SIDE NOTE:
Attempt to improve on the small-talk by going to someones cash lane and chat them up about their day, life, school, etc.
