I have to admit. Today was a success. A success in terms of not making too much mistakes and holding my own against customer's banters. Although there was one incident when I was just overwhelmed by a customer's tirade and attitude. I will however take the incident as a lesson learned and will carefully monitor the things I did wrong about the situation. I responded well to co-workers when I asked them questions unlike the previous occasions when I was just too nervous and scared to muster a coherent sentence. Today was an improvement overall, to say the least.
THINGS I DID RIGHT:
*Nervousness was minimal for the most part of the day.
*I did not seem as nervous as before when being pressured by customers and their problems.
*I was focused on the job
*I talked to a few co-workers whom I've never talked to before.
THINGS I NEED TO IMPROVE ON:
*Minimize the anxiety by being more talkative to customers.
*Don't let the customers pressure you into doing something you're not allowed to. Don't allow yourself to get bullied. Period.
*Learn/practice talking to customers/co-workers while working. (Practice Multi-tasking)
*Act more confident in terms of posture and most importantly, THE VOICE. Work on it and make sure to make it a habit.
