BACK ON CARDIO

I decided to hit the bike in response to what happened today. I felt that I've hit rock bottom and I don't intend on feeling like this any longer. I've been depressed lately and hitting the stationary bike should mediate all the negative energy that surrounds me. I've always wanted to get back on the stationary bike and I guess the only thing that's stopping me is a good, valid reason. I for one do not agree with this. If you want to do something, do it. Simple as that. No reason, no excuses. It's frustrating to realize that you do believe in this statement. Bad habits just prevents you from remembering them.

Cardio workout is the gift that keeps on giving. How could most people in this world live without realizing the benefits of a good cardio workout? You'll feel and look great and after every session gives you the same feeling as getting drunk inside the nearby pub. Runners high is what they call it. I try to add as much resistance as possible and just enough to maintain the flow of sweat out of my system. The more I sweat, the more I add the resistance which causes me to make these stupid faces and I feel that this is actually the only time where I really couldn't care less of what people think of me. This behavior also causes a lot of twisting and turning which adds the effect of a major struggle. This is something I would like everybody to see me as: a person on a constant struggle. Being in a struggle really appeals to me because I'm the type of person who truly admires hardwork and perseverance. And when a person struggles and they have what it takes to not give up, 9 out of 10 succeeds.

When im on the stationary bike, I try to concentrate on my goals and dreams. Sometimes its hard to focus on these things because the pain gets in the way and this usually happens in the first 10 minutes or so. I have a strict water break that occurs every 12 minutes. I also increase the resistance after every water break which causes you to sweat even more. I noticed that most people on machines do not have any routines like this and that's why most of them fail by not getting any results. The main reason we got to the gym is to fulfill our physical (and sometimes) mental goals. GOAL. Thats the keyword here. It isn't any different than having a small goal, a routine if you will, when on a cardio machine. Every little thing that we do matters regardless of the circumstances. This is how habits are formed.

I'll be cutting down on fat for a month because I'm somewhat irritated at how fast my six packs had vanished. I've also gained about 6-7 pounds of fat which mostly settled in my midsection, thus terminating the existence of my abs. Losing the fat won't be a problem. Maintaining the weight will be.

Time to stack up on the good 'ol tunas! Six Packs, i'll be seeing you boys soon!
